FASTyle integrates directly within the themes and templates modules. Hence, it will open straight away when you click on a theme or template set.
FASTyle is built with speed in mind; every action is routed to the server with AJAX technology, accounting for its unique real-time feel. Assets are listed in a convenient collapsible sidebar, and once loaded they are added to a tabbed top bar where you can easily switch between opened ones, resembling a standard browser experience. Get, save, add and delete assets anytime and in real-time.

Compare assets to their original versions and edit them as you type. Templates and stylesheets are compared against the local MyBB Master Style versions, while JavaScripts are compared remotely by fetching the original asset from GitHub synchronized with your current MyBB version.

When you perform sensitive actions, like closing unsaved assets or deleting them, you are prompted with a confirmation dialog. Quick mode allows you to bypass dialogs and approve your actions automatically, like a pro.
By enabling quick mode you acknowledge that you can permanently delete assets without any confirmation dialog. Templates and stylesheets are saved in the database, so you *might* have automatic backups generated by MyBB's tasks system; JavaScripts are saved in the filesystem and are more prone to data loss.

FASTyle remembers your editor tuning, including previously opened tabs and the last one being worked on, quick mode and full paging, and sets them automatically once you refresh the page or come back days after. FASTyle's memory is stored in your browser cache and it's theme's specific, so you can work on different themes without letting their own setups interfere with each other.

In 1.3 beta i also experienced the "not saving templates", but it was really rarely.
As for 1.4, the save & return to listing keeps the template group list open for me, so that works.
But would it be possible to also make it with the browser back button? Because it doesn't keep it open that way and i think that would be great.

@Shade - nevermind, I downloaded the old version (1.4beta) - with v1.4 it works fine (at least "Remember template groups open when coming back to the template list"). Thank you, great plugin. I am waiting for final Thunderboard and maybe all in one soltuion for tagging users/threads ;)
Seems to not save templates again. No idea why. Had to revert template and redo the change in order for it to update. Doesn't work either when i do it with "return to listing".
Weird. I have completely changed the hook and the logic, never had an issue on my side since then. How often do things get weird @Brenda? Guess I have to check this out one more time.

Excellent plugin, yet again, @Shade! Perfect solution to keeping my place on the page while actively editing templates/CSS. I always found that to be a problem with MyBB.

- I have headerinclude template located in header template group. Edit something in this template (headerinclude) -> click on Save and Return -> headerinclude template disappears (cannot find it - checked every template group) -> you have to reload page (F5)
- another issue - again, sometimes the changes are not saved (I find, when you ppen more templates (different ones) in 3-4 tabs and then do changes, the content is not saved properly sometimes. Maybe it could help you to debug
